Fun with Photoshop!

Adobe Photoshop is the premeire computer designing software for both beginners and experts. It's user-friendly interface makes creating awesome images like these simple, but still with endless variety!

Music CD Cover:
In creating this front album cover I used various photoshop effects and symmetrical lines to create a vibrant, attention-grabbing design while at the same time effectively showing the simplicity of just a guitar and lite text. I used an alternating light and dark sunburst pattern to draw attention and placed a trimmed classic and recognizable guitar in the center. The fictional company’s logo is in the corners on both covers.

The back album cover is relatable to the front and the simple track list doesn’t take too much attention off of the covers modern design. I used a delicate font to attract all types of music listeners, and arranged the barcode and copyright information in respective corners. The professionally abstract designs in the corners were created by incorporating high quality vector brushes into the layout. The result is an artistic, readable design with all necessary information well organized.

The Atlantic Brewery’s business logo is effective, recognizable, and scalable. The simple two-color scheme is not too flashy. Lateral symmetry is used first, then I abstractly placed the “B” in an off center location. The text is clear and vibrant. Having one bold letter and a smaller more textured other letter shows some depth. This logo appears as visually memorable and the space around both characters is utilized to interlock the logo and have it appear as one solid symbol. Whether large and clear or small and fitted, this logo has everything a respectable logo should. It’s clear to understand at any size and angle and clearly conveys the simplicity but professionalism of this restaurant.
